FAQ

  • What are the features of Yuanguangbao’s waterproof system?

Yuanguangbao adopts patented integrated structural waterproof technology with the following features:

    • U-shaped gutter design for smoother drainage
    • Main beams and purlins serve as gutters; no separate gutter purchase required
    • Secondary water guiding system with short and fast drainage paths
    • Only 3mm panel gap, installed with hold-down blocks, sloped along short edges
    • Integrated steel & waterproof structure, eliminating leakage caused by separated gutters and steel components

  • What is two-stage water guiding?

Two-stage water guiding is the core of Yuanguangbao’s patented integrated structural waterproof technology. Rainwater flows from the PV panel surface into the primary gutter, then directly converges into the secondary main drainage gutter. Drainage is completed in just two stages. Compared with the four-stage water guiding of traditional welded brackets, Yuanguangbao features a shorter drainage path and faster drainage speed.

  • What is the difference in water guiding hierarchy between Yuanguangbao and traditional welded structures?

Yuanguangbao: Two-stage water guiding, U-shaped gutter, integrated steel & gutter structure, 3mm panel gap, installed with hold-down blocks, sloped along short edges.

Traditional welded structure: Four-stage water guiding, M-shaped gutter, separate procurement of steel and gutters, 20mm+ panel gap, installed with top clamping blocks, sloped along long edges.

  • What shape is Yuanguangbao’s gutter?

Yuanguangbao adopts a U-shaped gutter design, integrally formed with main beams and purlins. No separate gutter purchase is required. Compared with the M-shaped gutter of traditional welded brackets (where steel and gutters are purchased separately), our U-shaped gutter delivers smoother drainage. The integrated structure eliminates leakage risks found in separated gutter systems.

  • What is integrated structural waterproofing?

Integrated structural waterproofing is Yuanguangbao’s core patented technology. It combines load-bearing structures (main beams and purlins) with the waterproof system (gutters) into one unit. The main beam serves as the gutter, and the purlin also acts as the gutter. No separate procurement or installation of gutters is required. At the structural design level, it solves the problems of water seepage, excessive water diversion layers and slow drainage caused by the separation of steel frames and gutters in traditional welded brackets.

  • What is the difference in water flow velocity between a 10° slope and a 5° slope?

The water flow speed at a 10° slope is approximately twice that at a 5° slope. Yuanguangbao can adapt to slopes from 5° to 15°, featuring a short-side slope design that ensures drainage efficiency while also facilitating installation. Traditional welded brackets use a long-side slope, resulting in a longer drainage path and lower efficiency.
